Maxfli Revolution Golf Balls
Our Maxfli Revolution golf balls bring tour-caliber technology to every round. We engineered the Revolution with a high-energy core that generates explosive ball speed off the driver while maintaining exceptional feel around the greens.
The proprietary ionomer cover provides the ideal balance of durability and spin control. Whether you’re attacking pins from 150 yards or executing delicate bump-and-runs, the Revolution responds with consistent performance that builds confidence in every shot.
Revolution Performance Specs

Core Technology & Construction
The Revolution’s high-energy core forms the foundation of its performance profile. We formulated this core to compress efficiently at impact, converting your swing energy into maximum ball speed without sacrificing the soft feel that better players demand.
Aerodynamic Dimple Design
Our aerodynamic engineers developed the Revolution’s 332-dimple pattern through extensive wind tunnel testing and on-course validation. The shallow dimple depth reduces drag during the initial launch phase while the strategic placement maintains a penetrating trajectory that holds its line in crosswinds. This pattern delivers approximately 8-12 yards of additional carry distance compared to conventional dimple designs in the same compression category.

Cover Material & Spin Performance
We selected a proprietary ionomer blend for the Revolution cover after testing dozens of formulations. This material provides the resilience needed for driver durability while maintaining enough softness to generate meaningful spin with wedges and short irons.
Greenside Control
The cover’s surface texture interacts with wedge grooves to create friction that translates into backspin. On full wedge shots from 80-100 yards, the Revolution typically produces 7,500-9,000 rpm depending on swing characteristics and groove condition. That spin rate gives you the stopping power to attack tight pin positions with confidence.
Ideal Player Profile & Swing Speed
The Revolution targets golfers with swing speeds between 85 and 105 mph who want a versatile ball that performs across all shots. We designed this mid-compression profile to work efficiently for the majority of amateur players without requiring tour-level swing mechanics.
If your driver swing speed sits in the 90-95 mph range, the Revolution compresses optimally to deliver peak distance and feel. Players at the lower end of the spectrum still achieve excellent results, while faster swingers benefit from the added control and workability. Golfers seeking ultra-low compression for maximum distance on moderate swing speeds may prefer that construction, though the Revolution offers superior spin and versatility for players who prioritize scoring shots.

Revolution Golf Ball Questions
The Revolution performs optimally for swing speeds between 85 and 105 mph. We designed this mid-compression ball to compress efficiently for the majority of amateur golfers.
Players at 90-95 mph typically see peak performance, though slower and faster swingers still achieve excellent results. The core technology adapts to your individual swing characteristics to deliver consistent distance and feel.
The Revolution uses an ionomer cover instead of urethane, which provides excellent durability while maintaining very good greenside spin. Tour balls with urethane covers typically generate slightly more spin on wedge shots but cost significantly more and show scuff marks faster.
For most amateur players, the Revolution delivers the performance characteristics that matter most—good distance, reliable short game control, and durability—at a price point that makes sense for regular play.
The Revolution features a balanced spin profile that doesn’t specifically correct sidespin. While it won’t reduce hooks or slices like our StraightFli model, the consistent flight characteristics and stable trajectory help you better predict ball flight patterns.
The predictability allows you to make swing adjustments with confidence, knowing the ball will respond consistently to your contact quality and clubface angle.
With normal play and no water hazard losses, a Revolution golf ball typically maintains its performance characteristics for 3-5 rounds. The ionomer cover resists scuffing and cuts better than softer materials, so you’ll see minimal cosmetic wear even after multiple rounds.
The dimple pattern and core integrity remain stable throughout the ball’s lifespan, ensuring consistent aerodynamics and compression from the first tee until you retire it.
The only difference is the cover color—both versions use identical core construction, dimple patterns, and performance specifications. The optical yellow finish provides enhanced visibility in various conditions, making it easier to track your ball in flight and locate it in rough or against fall foliage.
Many players keep both colors on hand and choose based on course conditions and personal preference. The performance remains consistent regardless of which color you select.
The Revolution performs well in temperatures down to approximately 45°F, though like all golf balls, you’ll notice some loss of distance in very cold conditions. The ionomer cover remains relatively responsive compared to firmer materials that can feel hard in cold weather.
For optimal performance in cold conditions, we recommend keeping a few balls in your pocket to maintain warmth and rotating them throughout your round. The Revolution’s durability means cold weather won’t cause cracking or permanent damage to the ball construction.
Absolutely. The Revolution’s forgiving mid-compression design helps golfers at all skill levels achieve good results. High-handicap players benefit from the distance off the tee and the durability that keeps balls in play longer.
The soft feel around the greens helps develop touch and confidence in the short game. As your skills improve, the Revolution’s performance ceiling is high enough to grow with your game rather than requiring an immediate ball change.
